Bunnyhood (Mansi Maheshwari) – Selected for Cannes
A HORROR FILM WITH BUNNIES (BASED ON A TRUE STORY) The NFTS grad animation films finish between January to February each year; however, the production management course ends in the September before. Our tutor thus gave us the opportunity to work as Production Assistants on the 2022/23 grad animation projects to fill in for the group of PMs that had just graduated. Along with another Production Assistant, I was placed on 'Bunnyhood' from October 2023 to February 2024. The production was well on its way when we joined. I assisted the Director Mansi and Producer Ashionye (an amazing team) by purchasing supplies, processing expenses, and updating the cost book. It was easy work that I could do quickly, but it was still a great chance to meet a wonderful team and learn about hand drawn animation.
