She Kills Monsters:
Nov. 16-18, 2017

She Kills Monsters is my last production with Lakeside School. It's about a woman, Agnes, coming to terms with her sister's death, which she is able to accomplish through a D&D module her sister, Tilly, wrote. However, through the game and her DM, she learns things about her sister that she'd had no knowledge of during her Tilly's life. The play is silly and fun and has tons of thrilling fight scenes, while still focusing on issues surrounding family and sexuality.

I play the younger sister, Tilly Evans, and tonight is our opening night. Although this does not directly relate to our filmmaking class, I do consider acting an important part of film. In addition, I was able to film all the fight sequences--and a couple of other scenes--a few weeks ago during a rehearsal, and I'm hoping to incorporate them into my final project.
