Flourless Chocolate Cookies

I FELT LIKE FILMING...AND BAKING 🤷

After rewatching and posting my
French Toast video yesterday (If you haven't seen it yet go check it out), I felt like filming — and baking. I have definitely got more into baking over lockdown (a cliché, I know). This isn't really a film...more like a blog or YouTube tutorial, but it was still a chance to practice filming and editing.

It was a little difficult to film since I was simultaneously baking. My tripod was too short to look over into in the bowl, and if I tilted the phone forward, the tripod would fall over. I mostly ended up holding the tripod. There are definitely a few times that the camera visibly shifted or fell over. C'est la vie.

The editing was simple but I enjoyed that. I definitely responded to my French Toast video: I made such to use a text font and colour that was legible and recorded clips of me adding the ingredients rather than still shots. This is progress.

If I were to film this again I would spend more time figuring out the camera placement. Perhaps I could have balanced it on something else or used a smaller bowl. Maybe I should invest in a bigger tripod.

Anyway, here is the video. It's a simple recipe — give it a go.
