EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT: FIRST FITTING AT WARNER BROS.
Today I did my first fitting to be an extra on Pennyworth S3. It did not start out entirely smoothly – I went to the wrong parking lot not having realised that the place is so massive there are multiple. The AD was very understanding though and I was bused up the street to Hill Farm, where fittings are done.
The space is like a small warehouse, and it the back there are a few makeshift places to change where they bring you your costume. My measurements were taken and I was given an outfit to try on (very bright colours and 70s style fashion). The woman who did my fitting was very friendly and told me that she had gone to design school and worked on Sandman; they are freelance and generally work a whole season of a show, but this is not always the case. She also explain my role: a Person with Enhancements (P.W.E) who had been experimented on and enhanced. As there was no props person, the costume team had been stuck with designing the 'enhancements.' It took about an hour to weave red and black wires and washers through my sweater and attach them to a glove. I was then photographed in costume and sent to the hair and make up building.
There team was also very friendly and decided to keep my hair and make up natural (I was only given a clip). I was photographed there as well and then sent to change back into my clothes.
I can't believe I'm actually going to be in a TV show. A Batman TV show. At Warner Bros.
