Argos: Make Yourself at Home (Sunny Bahia)

I'M A PRODUCTION ASSISTANT!

I got a call from Sunny, a director who mentors me through his production company No Trace, asking if I was available to work as a Production Assistant on a branded content series for Argos. I was on holiday in Venice for the 2022 Biennale and did the work remotely. 

I was tasked with researching potential locations (warehouses or studios) for filming (the parameters were that it needed to fit a digital cube with rough measurements). I looked at locations both in and around London – I didn't have a budget so it was more a rough idea of things that were available. 

Everything was put into a spreadsheet for the Director to review. I also researched trends in branded content for the style of the video; I went through the social medias and YouTubes of companies like Samsung, Google, and Nike. 

It was only two days but it was great to get some professional experience (and be paid)!
