Troll's Bottom (Zoë Heimann)

PRODUCING REMOTELY

I joined 'Troll's Bottom' late in pre-production as the Assistant Producer. My role was to source funding. This position was remote, as I was unable to make the filming dates. I secured a £75 grant from the Cameron Mackintosh Drama Fund (before they ceased offering film grants). This covered most of the production costs (the budget was just over £100). Unfortunately I was unable to secure more funding from within the university as most of the cast and crew had graduated. The grant was nevertheless a significant help to the production, and the Director was comfortable covering the rest of the production costs. I can't wait to see the finished film! The narrative follows someone confronting the person who sexually assaulted them. It is an intense narrative, and an important one.
